This week marks a big milestone for one of our longstanding clients: Pliteq has ranked on Canadian Business’s Growth 500 list of Canada’s fastest growing companies!
Pliteq is a manufacturer of recycled rubber building products for sound control. They first came to Cortex Design as a client over 11 years ago. We provided industrial design and production support services for the GenieClip — a molded rubber and steel part used to minimize sound in wall and ceiling assemblies. Since then, we’ve acted as an ongoing production liaison and been happy to watch them grow. They’ve diversified their product line and have become recognized as a leading innovator in sound control – a testament to the power of ongoing investment in R&D.
We remember when Pliteq was working out of a kitchen office. Now they have a massive facility, and — as of this week — a shiny award to show for their work.
Canadian Business’s annual list is built on great entrepreneurial stories. It’s one of the best showcases in Canada for companies who have turned innovation into solid revenue growth. This year, Pliteq ranked #5 among manufacturers who had at least $20 million in revenue, and #128 on the list overall.
Pliteq is killing it, and we couldn’t be happier for them. Congrats on this achievement!
